About Us
Bellevue Athletic FC is a Bellevue, King County Semi-Professional Soccer Club serving the Eastside. Our first team competes in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), while Bellevue 2 participates in Seattle Rats in the Fall & Cascadia Premier League D2 in Spring/Summer.
BAFC was founded by Excelerate LLC, a family owned and operated sports management Company. The Rivera Family founded Excelerate with the mission of improving US Soccer through semi-professional and professional development opportunities.
Head Coach Adam Fenster holds a USSF “B” License and brings a wealth of coaching experience from the collegiate and youth levels, as well as playing experience from all levels of American soccer & semi-professional soccer in the Netherlands.

BAFC was founded by Excelerate LLC, a family-owned and operated sports management company. The Rivera Family started Excelerate with the mission of improving US Soccer through semi-professional and professional development opportunities.
Laura and Jose Rivera have been small business owners in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years, owning a variety of businesses, including martial arts dojos and a CPA firm. They have also been involved in Washington youth soccer for well over 20 years, as both their children have played at many clubs throughout the region.
Anastacio Rivera has been building small businesses for the past 5 years and coaching soccer on the Eastside for almost 10 years. He played at a high level until injuries derailed his career at 19, leading him to begin his coaching career early. He has experience coaching youth, high school, and semi-professional soccer.
Bellevue Athletic FC Mission Statement
Bellevue Athletic FC was formed with the belief that there is an extensive and untapped talent pool in the Greater Seattle area that is lacking opportunities at the professional level. By providing opportunities for younger talents and undiscovered gems, BAFC will work to fill the gap and provide a pathway to higher-level professional leagues. In the future, BAFC will also work towards becoming a higher-tier professional team and grow our brand locally and internationally.
